as you reach into your pocket , a lump rises in your throat , sweat beads accumulate on your brow , your hand start to shake . you are seriously anxious,yet again , for the eleventh time in the last ten minutes, you realize its not there . Rushing out of the house to get to the office , you left it at home . OH no! what a disaster!
You are addicted to your cell hone when....
- you feel uncomfortable when you are not using it .
- your cell phone use has increased significantly.
- your need to talk is insatiable, some time adversely your real relationship
- your cell phone bill causing financial distress
- you are enable to finish the work at the office because of excessive phone use
you are endangering your health because of its use at in appropriate times .... ie driving or late at night when you should be sleeping
how to stop !
- restrain your cell phone time .
like all addiction you need to analyses why you are so dependent on your on the phone and take corrective steps. if your reasons are personal ..check what is missing in your life ... " your excessive use of cell phone
- find a hobby
- see your priorities : it is more important to give time to your 3 friends sitting next to you rather than to be in touch with 20 friends via phone .... family is more important than your blackberry i think
- give your phone a holiday some times
when u started ignoring your family , friends . even your phone use is for work related . and your friends complaining about your behavior than seriously saying .. its need to think something about that ...
